When a VPS fits
Production apps without a whole machine
Most websites, APIs and background workers never come close to using a dedicated server. A VPS gives them their own memory and storage at a fraction of the price, and you can grow into a bigger plan when you need to.
When it doesn't
Heavy databases and steady high load
If your workload keeps the CPU busy around the clock or needs more than 24 GB of memory, a dedicated server or a larger custom VPS will serve you better.
Fixed plan or configurator?
The fixed plans come with SSD storage and balanced memory per vCPU. The configurator lets you choose any combination of memory, vCPU and HDD storage, which is useful when you need a lot of one resource and little of another.
Can I run Windows?
Our VPS plans run Linux. If you need Windows Server, take a look at our dedicated servers.
How quickly is my VPS ready?
Within 24 hours of payment, with the distribution you picked at checkout. We email you when it is ready; the access details are in your dashboard.
Can I change the size later?
Yes. Contact support and we will move your VPS to a larger plan.
